NAC News – Edition 574 (HMCS Kings)

Your weekly national and international naval news for the week of July 19th, 2024

Edition: 574  HMCS Kings Quote:  “Russia seeks to fundamentally reconfigure the Euro-Atlantic security architecture.  The all-domain threat Russia poses to NATO will persist into the long term.  Russia is rebuilding and expanding its military capabilities, and continues its airspace violations and provocative activities.  We stand in solidarity with all Allies affected by these actions.  NATO does not seek confrontation, and poses no threat to Russia.  We remain willing to maintain channels of communication with Moscow to mitigate risk and prevent escalation.” Issued following the  Washington Summit Declaration issued by the Heads of State and Government participating in the meeting of the North Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., para 18.  10 July 2024.
