NOTICES

• NAC article for the Royal Canadian Military Institute’s RCMI journal ” Sitrep” – The NAC has an opportunity to submit an article on naval and/or maritime issues to the Royal Canadian Military Institute’s RCMI journal ” Sitrep”, which for the September edition is intended to be an all Navy edition.   SITREP is the RCMI bi-monthly professional journal.  It is published online and distributed in print to RCMI members across Canada. SITREP publishes articles that engage with current Canadian defence and strategic topics, foreign and defence policies, international relations, and military history.
• The 2018 NAC National AGM will be held Wednesday 27 June 2018, (1200 Ottawa time), and will be via video/teleconference using the GoToMeeting conferencing tool.  Relevant reports/information for the AGM have been posted on the webpage link below. The polls are now open to vote and nominate a proxy. We have tried to keep the process simple and all can be done in a simple email if you wish. No need to mail or attach PDF files. If you intent to participate in the teleconference please email the Executive Director. A phone-in option is also available; details to follow. If you have questions/issues- let me know!

• A Change of Command Ceremony was held Friday 22 Jun when the Commander of Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force (Pacific) Rear-Admiral Art McDonald, MSM, CD was relieved by Rear-Admiral Bob Auchterlonie, OMM, CD.  Rear-Admiral McDonald will become the Deputy Commander RCN at NDHQ replacing Rear-Admiral Couturier who is retiring.  (no link)
