NSNOA Bursary Trust

The NSNOA Bursary Trust was created in the 1990s to provided financial assistance

to worthy students with ties to the “naval family”. The Trust is registered with

Revenue Canada as a charitable educational organization. Two awards of $1500.00

are made each year. Funds are raised by donations and bequests as well as from

interest on investments.

Applicants must be:

(1) Enrolled as full time students at any accredited Canadian post-secondary

academic institution.

(2) Be children, grandchildren, or other relative of NSNAC members or other

students recommended by an NSNAC member. Alternatively, applicants may be

serving or former members of the Naval Reserve; serving or former sea cadets; or

dependants of serving or former members of the RCN.
