NOTICES
- ★ GoFundMe for Admiral Norman’s Legal Defence (After 7 months 1,190 people have contributed $151,650 towards the $200,00 goal)
(Editor – message from Lee Hammond) Hi folks – it’s taken awhile, but we have now reached $150,000! That is a great deal of money but it’s not close to what VAdm Norman’s legal bills will be when he eventually prevails in this case! I’m sharing with many folks who have already donated so I’m asking everyone. Share this with your friends and ask them to share it with their friends. Let’s get the word out and keep those donations coming. This money is making a tangible and real difference! - Obituary Brooke Shaw Campbell – An active member of the UNTD Association and a long time member of NOABC. For nearly 10 years as Chairman for the NAC’s Endowment Fund, Brooke was a driving force to develop the Fund from its early modest value to its 2015 worth of approximately $700K. He was a tireless individual who supported a number of volunteer activities in his community as well. Unfortunately on 2 September 2018, he passed away in Vancouver, shortly before he was to attend the recent 2018 UNTD Reunion in St. John’s.
