Mark Phillips

Mark Phillips has been a member of the Naval Association of Canada since 2002 and in 2010 he joined the Board of Directors, at the Toronto Branch. In 2011 he was appointed as Programming Chair and established the very successful Toronto Branch Monthly Speaker Series, located at Canadian Forces College. Over six years as Chair he managed 60 NAC events, including 50 speakers. In 2017 Mark became President of the NAC Toronto Branch. Mark has served as a reserve member of the Canadian Forces for the past 17 years and continues as a Cadet Instructor. He has worked in the logistics field for over 25 years. He is a certified Professional Logistician (P. Log), since 1997. For the past fourteen years he has been the Logistics Manager at the University of Toronto Library at Downsview. From Feb-Aug. 2008 Mark was deployed in an executive level position to the United Nations Mission in Sudan, as Chief General Supply Unit (P-4). He has earned a Master of Arts degree in Leadership, from Royal Roads University. Previously Mark was a member of the Board of Directors and later the Honours and Awards Committee with St. John Ambulance at the Oakville, Milton Halton Hills Branch and currently he serves in the same capacity, with the Toronto Branch of St. John Ambulance.
