Jeff Gilmour

Jeff Gilmour spent over thirteen years in the RCN and Reserves serving on both destroyers and HMCS Bonaventure. For over twenty years he was employed as a lawyer and senior manager with the Government of the Northwest Territories, completing his term in 1998 as Secretary to Cabinet and Deputy Minister to the Executive. In Alberta he continued his interest in administrative law and governance by sitting on a number of administrative tribunals in that province. Jeff has been a Research Associate with the Arctic Institute of North America (AINA) which is affiliated with the University of Calgary for over fifteen years. Since 2012 he has been a Foundation member of the US Naval War College in Newport Rhode Island and since 2005 was appointed as the Honourary Consul for the Republic of Mali in Alberta. Jeff has been a board member of the Calgary branch of NAC since 2013.
